Our friendly dental team here are all local to Woodingdean, Rottingdean , Saltdean and Peacehaven , As a practice we pride ourselves on our local community feel as we all live and work within it.
Dr Marios Kakos
GDC No:100184 Qualifications: DipDS Thessaloniki 2003 I’m Marios the owner and dentist here at Deans Dental Care, I was born in Greece and qualified as a dentist from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003. I came to the UK and set up home in Brighton in 2005 and here I stayed after meeting my wife who is from this area. I have 2 young daughters and absolutely love living here in Rottingdean. I have been awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice from University College of London in 2011. I also have a special interest in short term orthodontics and have trained and been certified to carry out 6 month smiles since 2010 , also Quick Straight Teeth and Cfast braces .

Louise Kakos
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Oral Health Care, Dental Nursing 2005, SAAD DENTAL, Nurse Conscious Sedation 2007, ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management 2010, Computerised Accounts – 2013. I’m Louise, I am here working on all the behind the scene day to day management of the practice. I am friendly and love to chat so come on in and say hello. I qualified with the National Examination Board For Dental Nurses in November 2005. I then went on to complete SAAD national course for conscious sedation in July 2007, dental implant course. In 2005 I started my journey into dental practice management and qualified with ilm level 3 in first line management, then in 2013 I qualified in sage computerized accounts. In 2015 we started our journey in building Deans Dental Care. In my spare time i enjoy spending time as a family with our 2 girls.

Dr. Aklen Abdurahman is a dedicated specialist orthodontist with a profound passion for creating confident smiles. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul – Yeditepe University (BDS) and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Medical University – Varna. Dr. Aklen further enriched his knowledge by completing an intensive three-year orthodontic residency program at Medical University – Plovdiv. He is a proud member of esteemed organizations such as the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), British Orthodontic Society (BOS), and Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD). Dr. Aklen remains at the forefront of his field through active participation in advanced training and conferences. Dr. Aklen’s multilingual proficiency in English, Turkish, and Bulgarian ensures accessibility to a diverse range of patients.

Kaylea is our wonderful receptionist, administrator and implant treatment coordinator. Kaylea is a qualified dental nurse and you will find her at the front of house as well as chair side.

Larisa Gunn
Larisa is our friendly full time dental nurse at deans dental care. You will find her chair side and carrying out the daily jobs to keep the the surgery flowing.
