  • Composite bonding is a type of cosmetic dentistry, it is minimally invasive and the least expensive option for making a beautiful smile. It is the application of tooth colored resin composite material which is used to fill a chipped, decayed or discolored teeth. As its name shows, material bonds to the tooth in this procedure.

  • Here at Deans Dental Care we aim to prevent dental disease rather than treat it at a later date. With children this is where it starts leading the way to a healthier mouth for their future.

  • Dental hygiene treatment includes professionally cleaning of the teeth and gums for our patients. You may know this as scaling and polishing. Our hygienist or Dentist will also show all patients the best way to keep their teeth and gums clean, healthy and free of plaque.

  • Dentures are removable false teeth made of acrylic (plastic), nylon or metal. They fit snugly over the gums to replace missing teeth and eliminate potential problems caused by gaps. Gaps left by missing teeth can cause problems with eating and speech, and teeth either side of the gap may grow into the space at an angle. Sometimes, all the teeth need to be removed and replaced.

  • Dental veneers are used as a cosmetic treatment to improve the position and shape or shade of your front teeth. In cases where there is discoloration, trauma damaged or treatment-resistant stained teeth.

  • A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using a dental cement. Crowns can be made from many materials, which are usually fabricated in a dental labortary. Crowns are often used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth.

  • The end of cleaning as we know it!

  • Teeth become discoloured for many different reasons. This can be Tea, coffee and wine which all contain natural dyes which can darken them. Smoking tobacco can yellow them. Some medications can cause them to fade in colour to grey. Blood vessel or Nerve damage can also darken them. Decay, fillings and tartar can discolour them. Or just the natural process of aging can cause them to lose their shine. Teeth whitening is simple process and involves minimal discomfort.

  • Gum hygiene treatment include teeth cleaning and scaling, and we may advise preventative products such as fluoride rinses and gels. In some cases you may need some deeper cleaning on certain teeth, If this is the case your dentist or dental hygienist will use a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort during the treatment.

  • Dental inlays and onlays are used when old fillings need to be removed or replaced. A dental inlay is similar to a filling and fits inside the cusp tips (top edges) of the tooth. A dental onlay is more extensive and extends over the cusps of the treated tooth.

  • Simple & Surgical extractions

  • Root Canal treatment is carried out to either prolong the life of your dental pulp or remove it if its unsavable.

  • Most people have fillings of one sort or another in their mouths. Nowadays fillings are not only functional, but can be natural looking as well. Many people don’t want silver fillings that show when they laugh or smile because they are more conscious about the way they look.

  • Dental Implant treatment offers an almost equivalent restoration of a missing tooth or teeth in terms of function, strength, and aesthetics. It recovers the natural beauty of the smile, offering the luxury of higher self- esteem and improved lifestyle.

  • Six Month Smiles® short term orthodontic treatment is a modern twist on tried-and-tested orthodontics. There is little debate within the orthodontic community that braces are the most widely used and most effective method to give patients straight, healthy teeth and a beautiful smile. Six Month Smiles has taken the best and most important aspects of braces and modified the treatment and the materials to give adults a common-sense, cosmetic solution that easy and fits your lifestyle.
